Diploma in Engineering Level students are required to acquire the knowledge and skill on the concept of Digital counters, shift registers, memory, ADC, DAC, PLD, PLA, PAL, GAL, SAP-1, and 8085 microprocessors which are used in almost all digital systems and the foundation of advanced microprocessors, microcontroller and PLC.

After completing the subject, students will be able to:
 Explain the register and counter
 Use Memory
 Describe ADC and DAC
 State programmable logic Devices
 Describe a simple computer
 Explain the Program 8085 microprocessor

Data Communication (28554) কোর্সে তথ্য আদান-প্রদানের মৌলিক ধারণা, পদ্ধতি এবং প্রযুক্তি সম্পর্কে আলোচনা করা হয়। এই কোর্সের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা জানতে পারবে কীভাবে এক ডিভাইস থেকে অন্য ডিভাইসে ডাটা প্রেরণ ও গ্রহণ করা হয়, কীভাবে নেটওয়ার্ক গঠিত হয় এবং আধুনিক যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থায় বিভিন্ন প্রযুক্তি কীভাবে কাজ করে।

কোর্সটিতে Data Communication এর মৌলিক উপাদান, Signal ও Transmission System, Guided ও Unguided Transmission Media, Network Topology, বিভিন্ন ধরনের Network (LAN, MAN, WAN), Communication Modes (Simplex, Half Duplex, Full Duplex), Error Detection and Correction, Protocol, OSI Model এবং Internet Basics অন্তর্ভুক্ত রয়েছে।

এছাড়াও শিক্ষার্থীরা Bit Rate, Frequency, Bandwidth ইত্যাদি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ গাণিতিক বিষয় সম্পর্কে ধারণা লাভ করবে। কোর্সটি Networking, Cyber Security, Telecommunication এবং Information Technology বিষয়ে উচ্চতর শিক্ষার জন্য একটি শক্ত ভিত্তি তৈরি করবে।

এই কোর্স সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন করার মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা আধুনিক ডাটা কমিউনিকেশন সিস্টেমের কার্যপ্রণালী বুঝতে সক্ষম হবে এবং বাস্তব জীবনে নেটওয়ার্ক ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তির প্রয়োগ সম্পর্কে দক্ষতা অর্জন করবে।
